Never give up: A poem for the discouraged.

Today may be nasty, ugly and disappointing,

It may bring to naught all your struggles and labour,

But it doesn't matter the size of the mountain,

You can surely conquer if only you endure.

Good times will come, bad times will come,

But neither good nor bad in this life is constant,

So no matter how hard life may become,

Remember that only those who don't give up can become triumphant.

When it seems as though there's nothing to live for,

Or when you feel there's no one to help you,

Remember your father in heaven, the father to the poor,

Call on him in prayer for there's nothing he can't do.

The race is not to the Swift, but to those who keep on running,

The Victor in battle is not always the strongest but the relentless,

The beginning speaks only a little compared to the ending,

So never give up and never ever settle for less.
